Check out the newest Sysinternals tool Disk2vhd. It will take a running system and create a VHD from it. From there you can easily move it to MS Virtual Pc or MS Hyper-V. What’s cool about that? You run it from within a system that’s online! Get it here - it´s FREE!

I use Slysoft’s Virtual CloneDrive to create bootable USB sticks. I boot of a USB stick when I install Pc’s on a home work. For that I just use my NAS, MDT (LTI) and a USB key for booting. Grab it here – it’s FREE!

One of my favorite tools is Scooter Software’s Beyond Compare. I have a base task sequence for a desktop and a server installation. Using Beyond Compare I can easily comparing task sequences after building new task sequences from the base. Download a trail here
