<p>Here&#8217;s a quick fix to get the computer to boot again:</p>
<p>Boot from your Windows XP CD and start the recovery console</p>
<ul>
<li>Type command: CHDIR $NtUninstallKB977165$\spuninst</li>
<li>Type command: BATCH spuninst.txt</li>
<li>Type command: systemroot</li>
<li>Type command: exit (reboot)</li>
